Policies

Terms of purchasing

The description and photo of the items on the Royal Lighting website are professionally photographed and are provided by the manufacturer of the product. Some variations in finish, glass and other details may occur due to monitor screen resolution and color settings.

Light bulbs are not included unless otherwise indicated.

The customer is responsible to ensure style, size and dimension is suitable for their locations.

Shipping Policies

Royal Lighting currently is only shipping within Canada. Shipping is free for orders over $100.00 before applicable HST. Any orders under $100.00 will be subject to a shipping fee of $15.00

Free shipping is only valid and available for online purchases only. Customers may select for in-store pick up during check-out.

The customer is responsible for all shipping fees for returns unless otherwise notified and/or indicated by Royal Lighting.

Return Policies

Royal Lighting offers full refund on items stocked at Royal Lighting. Any items ordered that is considered as ‘non-stocked’ and/or special order item will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. You will be notified if the item(s) you ordered is a special order.

Items returned must have prior authorization. Any items returned to Royal Lighting without prior authorization will not be processed. Royal Lighting will provide the authorization number and label via email for you to affix with your return.

The following guidelines must be followed for any returns are to be considered.

Royal Lighting must be notified by email within 10 days upon receipt of delivery prior to a return to be processed.

Royal Lighting will provide a return authorization number and/or invoice for any approved returns.

The customer is responsible for all shipping fees related to any returned items, unless otherwise indicated by Royal Lighting.

Any special order returned will be charged a restocking fee of 25%.

All returns must be accompanied with the provided return authorization number affixed to the box.

Returned items must be in its original packaging, including all instructions, hardware and components of the items.

Crystal fixtures and fans cannot be assembled, and/or the individual parts packages are not opened. No returns will be accepted if component packages are opened.

Lampshades on lamps must have the original wrap and/or cover on the lampshade. A charge of $10 will apply if lampshades are unwrapped.

No returns will be accepted on items that are altered, or installed. Any returns not accepted will be the customer’s responsibility to pick up from Royal Lighting.

The customer is responsible for all shipping fees related to any returned items.

Warranty

It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Royal Lighting via email or by phone upon receiving any shipment of any defects, damages or missing parts within 10 days of delivery.

Royal Lighting stands behind the product we sell to our customers.

All items carry a minimum of 1 year warranty. Some manufacturers offer warranties longer than 1 year on certain parts and components.

If a defect occurs within the warranty period, Royal Lighting will provide replacement or have it sent back to the factor for repair at no charge to the customer. The replacement of a defective product in its entirety, or the defective component will be at the discretion of the manufacture. Replacement parts or fixtures will be shipped to the customer at no additional charge.

If a product is to be exchanged due to manufacture defect, damages or missing components, it must be reported to Royal Lighting within 10 days of delivery. We will issue a pick-up label for the exchange at no cost to the customer if the item is required to be returned.

Royal Lighting reserves the right at its discretion for replacement or repair.

The warranty will not apply to products that have been improperly assembled or improperly used or altered.

Product warranties do not include any cost of labour and/or installation.

Any installation or labour costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

The customer is responsible for shipping on any returns due to defect and/or damages not reported within 10 days to Royal Lighting.

Privacy Policy

Royal Lighting collects your information when you register online through our website onto a wish list.

Royal Lighting requires the collection of personal information when you make a purchase online. The information collected, such as your name, address, email and/or credit card information will only be used by Royal Lighting to service your purchase and inquiries only. We do not sell or market your personal information to any third party sources and/or companies.

When you register online, or make a purchase, Royal Lighting implies that you have provided consent to Royal Lighting regarding this information. We may use the data collected to offer our newsletters and/or promotions via email.

If you wish to opt out of any email promotional materials, please unsubscribe at the link provided in the newsletter or contact us at newsletter@royallighting.com to opt out.
